Gujranwala (Interior) – Khaadi

This store was designed on a long and narrow site; with the plot opening on a mini freeway. I saw the plot close to sunset time and immediately decided the architecture will have a warehouse form; with the huge glass light catchers to bring in the north light which luckily happens to dead north on the right side of the plot. The architectural design took the reference from there and a double height wooden pergola entrance takes the visitor in the interior that has multiple heights inside; and gives a sense of several structures joined together by a unified types of retail products
